Our new Doctor at BioBalance health, Dr. Rachel Sullivan, is developing a specialty within her hormone replacement practice. As a BioBalance Health physician, she specializes in the replacement of estradiol and testosterone with bio-identical hormone pellets, as well as preventive medicine for healthy aging.
While in her training Dr. Sullivan developed an interest in treating patients undergoing gender reassignment. This type of sub-specialty requires a team approach. The team of medical specialists required to safely care for a patient making this transformation is varied and Dr. Sullivan provides the hormone replacement portion of the treatment. It is a special and fascinating medical practice, and one that is in demand. Dr Sullivan is currently organizing her special practice within BioBalance Health at our Kansas City office. We are proud of her efforts to reach out to special patients, offering the benefit of her hard won hormone knowledge, to help all who need hormone replacement.
