Bioidentical Pellet Therapy Fee Schedule

What is the cost of bioidentical hormone pellet therapy?

BioBalance Health’s bioidentical hormone pellet therapy is convenient, proven effective for complete resolution of many symptoms, and is superior to all other hormone replacement therapy.

BioBalance Health does not take insurance assignment, but we attempt to use insurance for labs before and after the first pellet insertion. We provide the paperwork necessary to receive reimbursement from insurance companies. Fortunately, medical savings accounts generally pay for BioBalance Health pellet replacement.

For men, the chances are good that their bioidentical hormone pellets will be covered by their insurance long before the next pellets are inserted; usually six months. However, women have more trouble getting reimbursement. This is not fair, but it’s up to patients to pester their insurance company to change this inequity.

Patients save time, money and relationships by replacing hormones in various ways:

  • Save time spent in other doctors offices waiting for treatment for multiple symptoms.
  • Save money on copays for the medications you will no longer need for blood pressure, cholesterol, dry eyes, osteoporosis, and anxiety/depression.
  • Save your job by decreasing poor work performance.
  • Save your marriage if health and sex are points of contention.
  • Save money on weight-loss programs as you are finally able to lose weight.
  • Delay plastic surgery to look younger as pellets immediately improve skin color, tone, and elasticity
  • Prevent Alzheimer’s Disease, and Dementia—better than the expensive long term care insurance.
Cost of Womens Hormone Button-01

The cost per day for women who require an average schedule of pellets (3 pellets every four months) is $4.25 per day for the treatment. That is $1,560 a year.

All the costs you avoid (other medication, doctor visits, etc) and the increase in your quality of life could cut the total cost bioidentical hormone pellet therapy in half, making the cost about the price of a small cup of coffee from Starbuck’s—$2.10/day.

Two consultations are required; one before and one after the first insertion of pellets. After that, consultations are only needed once a year, when they are required by the patient who needs a change in dosage, or to review laboratory in complicated cases.

Cost of Mens Hormone Button-01-01

The cost per day for men who require an average schedule and amount of pellets (12-16 pellets twice a year) is $7.72/day.

However, it’s important to note that men often get their pellets covered by their insurance company because it takes the place of other very expensive testosterone treatments that are less effective, and the cost of ED drugs. Considering this, the daily cost for men is closer $2.20 per day after insurance pays.

Two consultations are required; one before and one after the first pellet insertion. After that, consultations are only needed once a year, when they are required by a patient who requires a change in dosage or to review laboratory results in complicated cases.
